SSSI Consent
Choose this option if you are a public body, a private owner/occupier, or a third party acting on behalf of a private owner/occupier (eg researcher, third sector organisation) and you need to apply for consent before you carry out any activity listed as an Operations Requiring Consent (ORC) for the SSSI.
Statutory Consultation
Choose this option if you are a regulator and you are obliged to consult NatureScot on an application for permission you have received. This includes EIA, SEA, or protected area cases.
Pre-application
Choose this option if you wish to ask for NatureScot advice on a proposal or plan before an application is made to another regulator. This includes EIA screening/scoping and plan-level HRAs.
Local Development Plan
Choose this option if you are a Planning Authority or DPEA consulting us on an LDP.
Post-response Consultation
Choose this option if NatureScot has formally responded to a previous application of another type and you are either a Planning Authority or Developer. This includes discharge of planning conditions notifications and correspondence to address a previous form of objection.
